The site contains a selection of my favourite puzzles. These are puzzles that make you think but don't necessarily contain any specialised mathematical knowledge to solve. There are also no word puzzles on this site simply because they are not to my taste.

Every week you can challenge fellow puzzlers worldwide on the Weekly Puzzle challenge. A new puzzle gets posted each week, usually on a Sunday, and if you send the first correct entry, you get your name up on the site for all your friends to see! If you want to get cracking as soon as possible on the latest puzzle then subscribe to the mailing list. An e-mail is sent automatically as soon as the the new weekly puzzle is posted. There are currently  weekly puzzles in the archive so there is a plenty to keep you going through the winter months!

Aside from the Weekly Puzzle, from time to time, I will also post new puzzles. All of these will go to the New Puzzles section. You can check back from time to time to see if new puzzles have been updated. The last new puzzles were published on 7th October 2001

There is a Forum where you can post your comments, queries and suggestions on anything puzzle related.

If you are stuck on a problem you heard in class, in school, at work, on TV, or just down the pub, and need help to solve it please e-mail me. If there is sufficient interest, I'll set up a puzzle help page and publish selected puzzles with answers.
